3 Natural Creatures for Your Halloween Felt Ball Garland

Halloween is just around the corner, and it's time to start DIYing your decorations. We will show you how to make 3 creatures out of natural Bindle & Brass elements that will work perfectly for a Halloween felt ball garland; ghosts, mummies, and jack o'lanterns. The materials are simple, and you can easily customize your DIY Halloween decorations with different colors and patterns. This project is perfect for people of all skill levels!

Scented Ghost

Use a Bindle & Brass 3” Scented Broom, an 8” squared-double layered gauze fabric, an extra strip of gauze, and some felt cut out to resemble ghost eyes, to create ghosts. Cut a small hole in the center of the square gauze and thread hanging band through. Wrap an extra band of gauze around the broom, tie and cut off excess to create a head, glue eyes on the front.

Scented Mummy

Paint the tips of a Bindle & Brass Scented Pinecone with green acrylic paint and let dry. Using a strip of 2” by 12” gauze intertwine within pinecone leaving a small amount of paint showing. Glue eyes on the pinecone where the green is showing through. Tie a piece of twine to the top of the pinecone for hanging on the garland.

Perfect Pumpkin

Using Bindle & Brass Pumpkins on a Stem, remove sticks, wrap the floral wire tightly around the pumpkin stems about 5 times, and leave enough wire to attach to the garland. You can even add a little flair to make it look like a real stem. Another fun touch would be adding a jack o’lantern face with felt, markers, or googly eyes, but we kept ours faceless.

You could stop here and these would make an adorable addition to a Halloween tree or a fun kid craft, but we wanted to create a felt ball garland to wrap around our tree and add some extra Halloween color.

Felt Garland

We found this pre-strung Halloween garland, pushed the felt balls together, and connected four to make a length that would fit our 3 foot lighted tree.
