Bring the Tree of Life Into Your Hanukkah Celebration With A Beautiful DIY
The first night of Hanukkah is just around the corner, and we know you're ready to celebrate! With the holiday season approaching, many people are looking to incorporate their Jewish traditions into their celebrations. Hanukkah is a great time to be creative with your décor! One way to bring in some hanukkiah flare is by adding a tree of life. The tree represents the Tree of Life present at the Garden of Eden. It has been traditionally used for many different holidays throughout history. Hanukkah is a Jewish holiday that celebrates the victory of the Maccabees over their oppressors. The eight-day celebration begins on November 28th and includes lighting a menorah each night, eating traditional foods like fried potato pancakes, and playing games such as dreidel. This DIY will show you how to recreate this symbol with natural materials easily found at your local Home Depot. For those who want to celebrate their Jewish faith with a crafty twist and include the whole family!
