Make It a Mother's Day They'll Remember
Let’s face it, moms, when it comes to preparation and celebration, we are usually the ones to remember the extra touches. This year, give your loved ones a little nudge in the right direction by setting the stage the night before so you can have a little extra me time in the morning. And by handing the responsibility to your children, it gives them a sense of pride knowing they put the smile on your face when they “woke” you up, even if you were always making sure they didn’t burn the house down creating this breakfast in bed!
To help make it the smoothest morning for you and the kids and/or hubby, a little prep work the night before and a gentle reminder note creates a blissful morning. Here at Bindle & Brass, we love lavender, so we had to create these amazing Lavender Pancakes that taste so sweet they barely need syrup, and a fun color-changing tea to hear the kids giggle in delight when it changes from dark blue to lavender. Don’t forget, if you would like to top it off with a little sparkling wine, make sure to put that by the bedside the night before.
Print these directions to help the kiddos with prep:
Think they are too young? Our resident 9-year-old had no problem making them!
And when you finally decide to get out of bed and get dressed, make it a fun day of crafting a beautiful reminder vase of them when they were small. It’s the perfect place to nestle in an amazing arrangement of Bindle & Brass dried naturals.
