DIY Scented Broom Fairy Craft
Is your fairy garden missing a little bouquet, these scented broom fairies are a magical craft for you or your children to create. Make sure to give your fairy it’s own personality by changing the color of tulle, ribbon and hair, or even using different scented brooms. Then hang them above your fairy village or under a rainbow and watch them sparkle.
To start gather all supplies:
Bindle & Brass 3“ Scented Brooms
tulle
wire
ribbon
wire cutters
wooden Bead
embroidery string
paint brush
bow hair clip
scissors
skewer
fabric glue
hot glue gun
Find a good crafting space:
Cut approximately 2’ of tulle.
Snip a 3” piece of wire.
Fold tulle in half.
Thread wire through tulle.
Wrap wire around top of broom and twist wire.
Cut off excess wire. Fluff tulle around broom.
Cut ribbon to length around wire.
Tuck and glue end securely.
Skewer bead and paint fairy head.
Cut a 3” inch piece of wire.
Wrap embroidery string around fingers, larger loop for longer hair.
Cut string on one half loop, wrap with wire on other half.
Feed wire through hole of bead, pulling wire into bead.
Glue sides of hair to bead.
Push wire through broom.
Hot glue hair clip to back of ribbon.
Hang in your fairy tree, and the scents create a magical aura.
