DIY Patriotic Fall Wreath for Labor Day
If you are looking for a quick, easy, AND affordable Labor Day wreath to dress up your front door, we have you covered! We saw a similar wreath on Etsy for a whomping $120. We recreated it with only a few items from the craft store and some Bindle & Brass Dried Cotton Stalks from The Home Depot for a fraction of the cost.
TO MAKE THIS CRAFT YOU WILL NEED
Grapevine wreath
Two bunches of faux greenery of your choice
Burlap bow
Floral wire
Small American flags
DIRECTIONS
Start by placing your grapevine wreath on a table and positioning your faux greenery vertically on the left side of the wreath and horizontally on the bottom—being sure to leave room in between for your burlap bow.
Then layer your Bindle & Brass Dried Cotton Stalks over top, positioning then so the greenery feathers out behind them.
Once you have achieved the look you want, set the cotton stalks to the side and use floral wire to attach the greenery to your wreath. Repeat this step and attach the cotton stalks.
Attach your burlap bow between the two sections at the bottom left quadrant of the wreath.
Finally, place your American flags on either side of the bow by simply using the flags’ poles as picks to secure them in the wreath.
So, for more fun, less labor, and a darling front door, give this Patriotic Fall Wreath the good ol’ fashioned try. We know you’ll enjoy!
The Bindle & Brass team wishes you a safe and fun-filled Labor Day!
P.S. Remove the flags and you’ll have an early-fall wreath to get you through until Halloween!
