10.5 x 13.5 embroidery mesh
large yarn
lighted birch branch
garden shears
floral wire
marker/pen
scissors
command strips
frame to attach the finished tree
DIRECTIONS
Gather supplies.
Cut broom at first binding and set handle aside.
Using a marker or pen, trace broom outline on embroidery mesh.
Cut embroidery mesh and secure broom with floral wire to mesh.
Lay lighted birch branch on top of broom and secure with floral wire.
Layer eucalyptus within broom creating a tree effect, connecting through mesh with floral wire.
Tie the floral wire to succulents and thread through the mesh, scatter them to resemble ornaments on the tree.
Tie yarn to the broom handle, macrame style.
Unwind the yarn and fluff.
Secure the broom to the mesh with wire ties.
Using the command strips on the back of the wire mesh, you can attach the tree to a frame, top with a star and enjoy.
